Oxford Man Accused of Threatening to 'Chop Up' Ex-Girlfriend's Family: Report

The man allegedly made the threat after the former girlfriend refused to get back together with him.

An Oxford man is accused of threatening to “chop up” his ex-girlfriend’s family after she refused to get back together with him in February, according to the Fairfield Citizen.

The Citizen reports Matthew J. Moran, 21, of Hickory Lane in Oxford, was arrested by Fairfield Police on a warrant Saturday night and charged with second-degree harassment and threatening.

Moran also allegedly hit the woman, a Fairfield resident, and broke her phone in previous incidents, according to the Citizen.
