Oxford Man Charged with DUI After Hitting a Pole and Trees

Police say the incident occurred earlier this month.

Kenneth Hogan, 47, of Nancy Lynn Lane in Oxford is accused of driving while under the influence of alcohol when he allegedly struck a light post on Oct. 4 on Country Club Road, the Republican-American reports.

Police say he also struck a few small trees and fled the scene but an alert motorist followed Hogan’s vehicle until police arrived.
