Oxford Man Charged with DUI in Southbury: Report

Police say the man was driving home from a Halloween party.

Jerry Dachenhausen, 34, of Macintosh Drive in Oxford was charged with DUI while leaving a Halloween party just before 1 a.m. in Southbury, the Republican-American reports.

The vehicle was reportedly driving erratically on Fish Rock Road when it was stopped along Main Street South, police said.

Dachenhausen allegedly admitted to drinking and his blood alcohol content was double the legal limit, the Rep-Am reports.
