Oxford Man Slaps Fellow Customer, Hits Victim with Car at Gas Station: Report

A team of cheerleaders were nearby when the incident occurred, according to a report.

OXFORD, CT — Police say Allen D. Butler, 62, of Evergreen Lane in Oxford slapped a fellow customer at a local gas station, sped away and struck the victim with his car all the while cheerleaders and their mothers watched, the Republican-American reports.

The incident occurred Saturday morning at the Sunoco station on Oxford Road. The victim was a 65-year-old man, the Rep-Am reports.
