Oxford Murder Suspect Case Continued Until October

The victim's family also received the car the suspect fled in initially.

The criminal court case against Scott Gellatly, 46, who is accused of shooting two Oxford women, including his wife, who was later pronounced dead had his court case continued to October 1, the Connecticut Post reports.

On May 7 Gellatly is accused of killing his wife, Lori, 32, and shooting the homeowner, Mary Jackson, who suffered serious injuries. The shootings occurred at a Sioux Drive residence.

After the shooting, Gellatly allegedly drove off in Ford Escape and when he was apprehended he apparently tried to commit suicide.

On Wednesday the court returned the 2013 Ford Escape that Gellatly initially fled in to his wife’s family, the Post reports. The prosecutor reported that the case remains an ongoing investigation.
