Oxford Needs More Money for Snow Removal
The town is seeking an emergency appropriation.

Oxford is joining the ever-growing list of communities whose snow removal budget has been tapped out.
According to a Board of Selectmen meeting agenda, the town is requesting an emergency appropriation to deal with the seemingly never ending snowstorms. A special town meeting may be necessary.
First Selectman George Temple told the Republican-American that he thinks the town has done so well with the budget thus far is because it pre-treats all 122 miles of town road.
