OXFORD PTO IS PLANNING AN EARLY SPRING LIVE AND SILENT AUCTION

Seeking donations for upcoming spring auction

The Oxford (CT) Parent Teacher Organization, Inc. is announcing a springtime event “Night at the Auction”, with our title sponsors STIHL Corporation and Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc./Keith Somers. This is one of our most popular events. It gives parents a chance to head out for a night on the town. It will provide adults a chance to have a great night and take a little time for themselves, all while raising money for a fantastic cause. This is one of our largest fundraisers of the year and the PTO hopes to raise more than $15,000. This will go toward support of various children’s programs including field trips, educational enrichment and other events.

The event will take place on March 25, 2017, from 6-10pm at the Colonial Tavern in Oxford, Connecticut. There will be hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar during the silent auction. A live auction will follow the silent auction. A sample of the committed donors to our auction are a limited edition Rob Surette Painting, Walt Disney World, Golden Nugget Casino - Las Vegas, STIHL Corporation, New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, New York Giants and the Palace Theater in Waterbury. We’re looking to local business and individuals in our community to help us reach our fundraising goal.
