The River Rose - An Authentic Paddleboat Experience

The River Rose is an authentic New Orleans paddle wheeler that departs from Newburgh, NY & heads south offering a 2 hour narrated tour of historically significant sites such as Bannerman’s Island, Catskill water aqueduct, Storm King Mountain, Breakneck Mountain, Village of Cold Spring and West Point. Prior to our cruise, lunch will be at The River Grill, located in Newburgh’s Historic District on the Hudson River.

Weekend in Washington DC
September 28-30, 2018 (Friday-Sunday)
Day 1: Depart via deluxe motorcoach and head for our beautiful capital on the Potomac River. Enjoy 2 nights at the first class Holiday inn in Arlington, VA . Welcome dinner marks our arrival.
Day 2: Meet our local guide for a city tour of DC to see the famous memorials highlighting the Vietnam & Korean War Memorials, FDR, World War II Memorial and the Martin Luther King Jr. National Memorial. Free time this afternoon at the Smithsonian. Dinner tonight before we wrap up today’s events with our traditional Washington-by-Night tour of the beautifully illuminated monuments.
Day 3: We arrive at Arlington National Cemetery. Hop aboard the tour mobile to see the grounds with stops at the grave of JFK and the Tomb of the Unknowns. Head home to Oxford, CT.
