A Princess in Every Girl

Magic awaits you with Disney Princess stories featuring Elsa, Anna, Cinderella, Belle, Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, Jasmine, and Snow White as you sit on magic carpets. Each class will be filled with enchanted activities, crafts and games.

Fun with Chocolate

Come have fun with chocolate recipes! You will make items such as chocolate French Toast, Dirt Cups and many other fun chocolate recipes.

Grades: 3-5; Cost: $95: Dates: Tuesdays, September 26th, October 3rd, 10th and 17th; Time: 3:45-5:00; Location: Oxford Center School

Claymation Moviemaker

Clay and animation, what a perfect combination. Working in teams, students do it all, from story creation to making the characters with clay and building the sets. As they learn the production process they will use a digital camera and computer software to animate, record, download, assemble and edit their own movies.

Grades: 3-5; Cost: $100; Dates: Wednesdays, 10/18, 10/25, 11/1, 11/8, 11/15

Lego in Motion

We put fun in motion as students learn how to use wheels and axles, motors, kinetic energy and balance to create numerous contraptions which will be powered with motors and battery packs. All new models to tinker with this year.

Grades: K-2; Cost: $100; Dates: Thursdays - 10/19, 10/26, 11/2, 11/9, 11/16; Time: 3:30 - 4:45pm; Location: Quaker Farms School.

Robotics Carnival

Robotics provides wonderful hands-on opportunities for the students to experiment and learn about the fundamentals of robotics, construction and computer programming. We will be using the all-time familiar Lego bricks to build around a microcomputer and using computer software to bring the robot to life! We will be building all kinds of fun rides found in amusement parks or carnivals!

Grades: Grades 3-5; Cost: $100; Dates: Mondays, 11/13, 11/20, 11/27, 12/4, 12/11

The Wizard's School of Magic

Join Magician Tom O'Brien as he teaches lots of new tricks and entertains and excites with his witty, fun approach to the wonderful world of Magic! Each participant will receive their own magic kits containing the props necessary to perform them at home and a magic wand. Sign up for 1 or all 3.

Grades: 1-2: Cost: $15 per session: Dates: Wednesdays, 10/4, 10/18, 11/1; Time: 3:30-4:30 p.m.; Location: Quaker Farms School.

Zentangle Apprentice Class

Zentangle ® is an easy-to-learn, relaxing and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. It is a proven method for mindfulness; it fosters self-esteem, focus, relaxation, creativity, stress reduction and it is FUN! Students will be led through a series of classes learning new tangles, tools, materials and techniques each week enabling them to create their own pieces of art.

Grades: K-5; Cost: $150; Dates: Tuesdays, 9/26-10/31; Time: 3:45-5:30 p.m.; Location: Quaker Farms School.

Note: Transportation for grades 3-5 must be arranged on your own.
