Oxford Parks And Recreation Announces Fall Trips

Fall trips are open to Oxford residents and non-residents, young and old.

From the Town of Oxford: Fall is just around the corner. Time to start planning your weekend trips! Our trips are open to residents and non-residents, young and old. Driver Gratuity is included in all of our day trip prices as shown. To make a reservation, call the OPR office at 203-888-2543, Ext. 3041 or register online at www.OxfordRec.com.

Payment of at least half of the trip fee must be received by the Parks and Rec office within 2 weeks of your request to be added to the list. Overnight weekend trips require a $150 deposit to reserve your space. For all trips, we need the names of all of the people traveling in your group. All trips are to be paid in full by 45 days before departure. Sorry but no refunds after 30 days before departure.

  • Explore the Metropolitan Museum of Art on a self-guided visit and enjoy time in the Museum cafes for lunch on your own;

  • Enjoy lunch at Bennington Station Restaurant serving traditional American cuisine in the ambiance of a historic railroad station;
  • After lunch visit Bennington Pottery and watch master potters at work;

  • Board a deluxe motor coach for the trip to the “City of Brotherly Love”;
  • Visit One Liberty Observation Deck and view the city from 883 feet up;

Day 2

  • Join a local guide for a Historic Tour of the City highlighting the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Congress Hall, Franklin Court and much more;
