Oxford Parks, Courts And Playgrounds Set To Reopen For Spring

OXFORD, CT — Oxford’s playgrounds, recreational courts and gated parks are scheduled to reopen later this month as the town prepares for the spring season.

Oxford Parks & Recreation announced that the facilities will officially reopen on March 16.

The reopening means families and residents will once again be able to use playground equipment, tennis courts and other recreational spaces that are typically closed during the winter months.

Town officials said the seasonal reopening comes as temperatures begin to warm and outdoor activities increase across the community.

Parks & Recreation officials said they are looking forward to seeing residents return to local parks to enjoy playgrounds, courts and other outdoor amenities as spring approaches.
