Oxford Police Investigate Reported Burglary

Report of jewelery, cash and electronics stolen from home.

Police are investigating a report of a burglary from a home on Oxford Road, or Route 67, on Friday.

A home occupant reported that electronics, jewelry and cash were taken from the home, according to a police report on file at State Police Barracks Troop A in Southbury.

The report states that police noticed indications that a burglars entered the house through a first floor window on the back of the home some time between 6:45 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Friday.

Oxford Resident Trooper Sgt. Dan Semosky said no other home break-ins were reported last week. He said the investigation is ongoing.
