Oxford Public Schools Calendar 2015-16

You may be thinking about how many more days you can go to the beach, but the first day of school is just around the corner. With that in mind, here are important dates for the 2015-16 school year in the Oxford Public School System.

First day of school: August 31

Labor Day (school closed): Sept. 7

Columbus Day (school closed): October 12

November 3 (school closed for students)

November 11, 12 (early release only for GOMS/OHS)

November 25: (early dismissal)

Thanksgiving (school closed): Nov. 26-27

December 2, 3 (early release only for QFS/OCS)

Winter break: Dec. 24-Jan. 3 (school resumes Jan. 4)

Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday (school closed): Jan. 18

Presidents Day (school closed): Feb. 15

March 2, 3 (QFS/OCS early release only)

Good Friday (school closed) March 25

Spring Break: April 18-22

Memorial Day (school closed): May 30

Last day of school: June 8

Note: Because of cancellations the school year could extend until June 30.
