The funds will help some residents repair their homes.

Oxford received a $400,000 grant from the state of Connecticut.

The town will use the funding to start a Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program to help low- and moderate-income homeowners repair their homes, according to a press release from the governor’s office. Twelve housing units are anticipated to be rehabilitated. Upgrades would include roof replacement, heating systems, window replacement, lead paint and asbestos removal, electrical and code upgrades, etc.
