Oxford Republicans Endorse Candidates For Municipal Offices

OXFORD, CT — The Oxford Republican Town Committee has endorsed a slate of candidates for office for the Nov. 4 municipal elections.

A total of 318 registered Republicans participated in the July 22 caucus, with 310 ballots cast.

The following candidates received the Republican endorsement:

  • Selectman - Robert Boroski
  • Town Clerk - Lauren Carr
  • Treasurer - Dana Flach
  • Board of Finance - Jack Kiley, Paula Jensen
  • Board of Education - Stacey Randolph-Gendron, Karen Delfino, Mollie Smith
  • Planning & Zoning (4-Year Term) - Jason Swan, Dan Wall, Linda Czaplinski
  • Planning & Zoning (2-Year Term) - Diamond Rosa
  • Board of Assessment Appeals (4-Year Term) - Daniel Bednarsky
  • Board of Assessment Appeals (2-Year Term) - Ray Reynolds
  • Zoning Board of Appeals (4-Year Term) - Richard Burns Jr., Larry Ellis
  • Zoning Board of Appeals (2-Year Term) - Vincent Scaffa

ORTC Chair Brett Olbrys wrote, "While these individuals are the officially endorsed Republican candidates, the incumbent First Selectman (George Temple) and Selectman (Arnold Jensen) have announced their intentions to petition for a primary in September, in accordance with state election procedures."
