Oxford Resident Claims Powerball Prize

The winning ticket was purchased at Linda's Liquors in Seymour, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

OXFORD, CT — An Oxford resident claimed a $50,000 Powerball prize Tuesday, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The winning ticket was purchased at Linda’s Liquors, 179 Roosevelt Drive in Seymour.

The lottery did not identify the winner. Since Oct. 1, 2025, winners’ names are published only when they provide written consent.

Powerball tickets cost $2 per play. Drawings are held Monday, Wednesday and Saturday nights.
