Oxford Resident Failed to Register as Sex Offender: Report

The man was originally charged back in 2014.

OXFORD, CT — Stephen Giampapa, 18, of Shelton Road in Oxford has been charged with two counts of failing to register as a sex offender and he was released on a $1,000 bond, the Republican-American reports.

According to the Sex Offender Registry Giampapa was convicted on April 21, 2016. State records show that Giampapa was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault. The Rep-Am reports the original incident occurred back in 2014. (To sign up for Oxford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
