“Hi! My name is Rose Gazy and I need your help to get back to work at my family’s farm in Oxford, Connecticut. I love my job. Raising vegetables is my passion and feeding people is very rewarding. I have recently been diagnosed with a birth defect called Spondylolisthesis. It’s a condition where a bone in my back can slide forward over the bone below it. As a result, I have a slipped disk in my L5 vertebra and I am in severe pain. I am not able to do many of the tasks that help to support my family’s business. I do not have insurance coverage that will pay for my physical therapy and chiropractic care, or possibly surgery in the future. Since I am unable to work, my family is also in need of finding someone who will do the jobs I used to perform on the farm. I hope you can help. As a way of “paying forward” your donation, Gazy Brothers Farm will donate one sellable box of veggies to a local food bank or emergency food pantry in our area for every $100 raised to help my cause. Thank you so much for your donation.”
Sincerely,
Rose Gazy
