Oxford Resident Tapped for Leadership Position at Gaylord
Christine Babina, BSN, RN, ACM-RN, promoted to Director of Care Management

Gaylord Hospital today announced that Christine Babina, BSN, RN, ACM-RN, was promoted from the position of Manager of Care Management to Director of Care Management.
She will be responsible for Gaylord Hospital’s Care Management department, a team of clinicians who assist in coordinating patients’ care, managing resources, interfacing with payers, and effectuating a safe and appropriate discharge plan.
Babina, who will soon complete the Master of Science in nursing program from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, is currently the President-Elect of the Connecticut chapter of the American Case Management Association.

“I am looking forward to continuing to improve the patient-family experience with the discharge planning process and to share all the good work that Gaylord does with our community and its providers,” she said.
