Oxford School Records to Be Destroyed in June
According to law, confidential records are destroyed six years after the student has graduated or left Oxford Public Schools.

From Oxford Public Schools:
In compliance with Federal and State regulations on confidentiality, the Pupil Personnel Services Department plans to destroy special education records of any Oxford student who withdrew or graduated and exited from the district on or before June 2010. According to law, confidential records are destroyed six years after the student has graduated or left Oxford Public Schools. The records of these students will be destroyed on or about June 24, 2016.
Anyone interested in receiving his or her special education records or those of their children should make the request in writing to the Director of Pupil Personnel Services, 1 Great Hill Road, Oxford, CT 06478.
