Oxford Schools Budget Proposal Includes a Spending Increase: Report

OXFORD, CT — Superintendent of Schools Ana V. Ortiz is seeking a 4.2 percent spending hike next year as part of a $30 million budget for fiscal 2017-18, the Republican-American reports.

Officials said they anticipate the budget request to be reduced before its sent to voters.
