Oxford Schools in Session on Monday

A message from Superintendent of Schools Tim Connellan: 

Good news! We will be back in school on Monday!  We have been informed that as of  this afternoon all of the major road/bus safety issues will have been resolved. Thank you all for your patience and attention during the past week. I am sure we are all looking forward to having students back in class.

Many of you have communicated with me directly during the past week indicating that you have appreciated the daily communications.  Thank you for that feedback. I hope that all storm related issues are resolved in all of our neighborhoods.

Editor's Note: As of Friday at 2:15 p.m., there were 587 CL&P customers in Oxford still without power. CL&P is expected to be working in Oxford this weekend to get everybody restored.
