Oxford Schools Add To Leadership Team
The district said the role is aimed at improving communication with families, staff and the Oxford community.
OXFORD, CT — Oxford Public Schools has appointed Leslie Alldredge as the district’s director of communications, Superintendent Dr. Ralph Marino Jr. announced Wednesday.
The district said the role is intended to expand communication with families, staff and community members, while bringing more visibility to the achievements of Oxford students and educators.
Alldredge has experience in marketing, public relations and community engagement, with a background in strategic messaging, digital media management and crisis communication, according to the district.

"We are thrilled to welcome Leslie to our leadership team," Marino said in a statement. "Effective communication is the cornerstone of a strong school community. Leslie’s expertise and energetic vision will be instrumental in keeping our families informed, celebrating our school district's successes, and deepening our connection with the Town of Oxford."
In the new role, Alldredge will oversee internal and external communications, manage media relations and help streamline digital content across the district’s website and social media platforms.

“I am honored to join Oxford Public Schools,” Alldredge said. “There are so many inspiring stories of growth, innovation, and community that make Oxford special. I am excited to collaborate with Dr. Marino, the Board of Education, and our school leaders to highlight and celebrate our district.”
Alldredge holds a degree in communication and has previously served in high-level marketing and public relations roles, according to the district.
