Oxford Town Hall Employees Raise $1,000 for Breast Cancer Awareness

It was the second annual "Pink the First Selectman,'' which was held on Thursday in front of town hall.

The Oxford Town Hall employees and residents raised close to $1,000 for Griffin Hospital’s Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign.

The second annual “Pink the First Selectman,’’ was held on Thursday in front of town hall.

Employees and residents made contributions and were then able to pink the first selectman by pouring pink water over him.

This event always prove to be a crowd pleaser. Also monies were raised through weekly drawings as well asd a homemade Pink Party basket drawing. The events were organized by Kelly Weymer of the Selectmen’s office. Thanks to all that contributed to make this annual event a success.
