Oxford Tree Lighting Ceremony Date Selected
Santa will also pay a visit and the town is also conducting a toy drive for children too.

OXFORD, CT — On Friday, December 2nd, the Oxford Parks and Recreation Commission is once again hosting the annual Town Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Oxford Town Hall.
Come join the Oxford Center School Chorus as they perform Christmas Carols. There will be great music, refreshments, a roving magician and prizes for the children. Join Oxford residents as they ring in the holiday season with our local dignitaries leading in the countdown to the tree lighting.
After the tree is illuminated, there will be a special visit from Santa as he arrives on the fire truck! Festivities begin at 6:00pm. This is a fun evening for the whole family! Come one, come all!

The town will also be accepting donations of new, unopened items for the Toys for Kids annual toy drive, which services children of all ages throughout our area. Please give so those who are less fortunate may also have a happy holiday, town officials said in a news release.
