The Oxford High School volleyball team's quest for a state title begins Friday night at home.
The team will do battle with New Canaan in the Class M quarterfinals beginning at 6 p.m. Oxford had a bye in the first round.
The Wolverines made it through the regular season and South-West Conference championships undefeated and only lost two sets all year.
The team is looking to avenge last year's loss in the state championship game against Newington.
