Oxford Woman Charged With Stealing Jewelry From Kohl's In Orange

The woman was charged after allegedly taking $56 worth of jewelry from the store.

Orange police officers responded to a shoplifting complaint at the Kohl’s store on November 3.

Officers learned that the arrestee, Cynthia Clancy, 55, of Chauncey Drive in Oxford, had allegedly taken $56 worth of jewelry from the store without paying, police said.

She was stopped by store security, and detained for police. She was subsequently charged by officers on scene.

Clancy was charged with sixth-degree larceny and was released on a promise to appear in Superior Court on November 17.
