Oxford Woman Charged With DUI After Nearly Striking Car Head On
Woman was charged in Southbury and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury court in March.
An Oxford woman was arrested on drunken driving charges after police said they noticed her car almost strike another vehicle head on on Main Street South in Southbury.
State police said they saw Gina Perrelli swerve over the yellow center line on Feb. 19, and nearly drive into another car going in the opposite direction, according to a police report on file at State Police Barracks Troop A in Southbury.
Police pulled her over on Flood Bridge Road and found she had been driving while intoxicated, the report states.

Perrelli, 30, of 3 Charter Oak Drive, was charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive right. She was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on March 8.
