Oxford Working to Address Neighbors' Noise Concerns
Oxford First Selectman George Temple wrote a letter to the PZB.

Oxford residents living on Chestnut Tree Hill Road, Echo Valley Road and Route 67 are worried about noise emanating from a proposed development in that area, according to Board of Selectmen meeting minutes.
Resident David Stocker requested the town adopt a temporary noise ordinance once construction begins, but First Selectman George Temple said that would be unenforceable, meeting minutes state.
But Temple suggested having a condition of site plan approval that no compacting be allowed between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. for the “quiet and enjoyment of neighbors in that area.”
