We took extra time to verify our Motor Vehicle List, however, due to the problems that Motor Vehicle is having, which started with the new computer system that was implemented this summer, we cannot be sure that this value will not change. The Department of Motor Vehicle expects the existing problems to be resolved in the future,” Lintzner said in a letter.

“Personal Property increase was due mostly to Eversource updating their equipment in our town which resulted in new equipment filing. I would like to thank my staff; Assessor’s Assistant, Teresa Geremski, Assessor’s Clerk, Joyce Eades and Personal Property Clerk, Elizabeth Pazsak, for their efforts and dedication. It is due to their diligence that this office runs efficiently,” Lintzner concluded.
