Police Blotter Through Aug. 1

A Seymour woman was charged with driving under the influence and second-degree assault stemming from a May 25 accident in which people were injured in a car accident involving two cars and a motorcycle on Route 67, police said.

Lisa Gold, 48, of 6 Sauquett Lane, was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and was supposed to appear today at Derby Superior Court.

The people who were injured in the crash sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

A resident of Mountain Road in Oxford reported to police that he has noticed money is missing from his home. Police are investigating.

An Oxford resident reported to police that a $1,200 Dell laptop computer was stolen from his 2001 Chevy Silverado truck. He says the truck was parked at two locations in Oxford, a private residence in Shelton and at a business in Milford.
