Police Blotter: Two Charged With DUI

State police charged two people with driving under the influence on Oxford roads over the weekend.

Chad Moir, 26, of 14 Lantern Drive, Seymour, was charged with DUI and operating without a license after he was involved in an accident on Route 188, police stated in a news release. He was released on a $1,000 bond and will be arraigned at Derby Superior Court on Jan. 7.

Police also charged Joshua Conant, 35, of 32 Talmadge Hill Road, Prospect, with DUI, disorderly conduct and violation of a protective order after police responded to a domestic incident on Great Hill Road. He was released on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday at Derby Superior Court.
