Police Investigate BB Gun Shooting
Man's front window shot out with BB on Good Hill Road.

Police say they are closing in on a suspect who shot a BB through a window at a home on Good Hill Road in Oxford.
A man who lives at 221 Good Hill Road said he arrived home last week and noticed a front window of his home was shattered; he later found a BB in the house, Resident Trooper Sgt. Dan Semosky said. Nobody was injured.
Although the man has no nearby neighbors and there were no witnesses, Semosky said police have worked several leads and have some suspects.

Semosky said this type of vandalism is not common in Oxford but is also not unheard of.
“Every now and then you have this kind of stuff here and in surrounding towns,” he said.

He said police once had a string of BB gun shooting incidents on Roosevelt Drive from the border in Derby all the way to Newtown. The Good Hill Road incident, which was reported over the weekend, is the only such case local police are investigating right now.
