Police Investigate Oxford Untimely Death

A man died in Oxford late Tuesday night.

OXFORD, CT — Police are investigating an untimely death in Oxford. The Oxford Resident Trooper’s Office and Emergency Medical Responders responded to a call at 11:51 p.m. Tuesday at 21 Pawnee Road for a man reported in cardiac arrest.

First responders declared the man dead at the scene, according to a statement. The State Police Western District Major Crime Squad (WDMCS) was requested to document the circumstances surrounding the death.

WDMCS detectives from Troop A Southbury are conducting the investigation. There is no threat to the public.
