Police Looking For Man Who Tried To Rob Oxford Mobil Station

Police are looking for a white man in his 20s who attempted to rob the Exxon Mobil gas station at 1 Oxford Road, or Route 67, in Oxford near the Seymour line around 8 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Valley Independent Sentinel.

The Sentinel reports that the man walked into the store, demanded money and claimed he had a weapon; he was chased out of the store without taking anything but it was unclear who chased the man out, police said, according to the Sentinel report, which states nobody was injured.

The man, who has facial hair, was wearing a red shirt and white hat at the time of the incident, the Sentinel reports.
