Police Release Photos of Oxford Robbery Suspect

Police are looking for a white male who appears to be in his 20s with a small amount of facial hair who is accused of attempting to rob the Exxon Mobil gas station at 1 Oxford Road Wednesday night.

The attempted robbery occurred a little after 8 p.m. when the man walked into the store, said he had a weapon and demanded money before someone chased him out of the store, police said. It was unclear who chased him out of the store.

The man did not show a weapon, he left without incident and nobody was injured, police said.
