Public Invited to Holiday Tree Decorating Event at The Watermark

The event will include music, hors d'oeuvres, and holiday drinks to get everyone into the holiday spirit.

On Tuesday, December 9, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., The Watermark at East Hill will host its annual Festival of Trees at the senior living community, located at 611 East Hill Road in Southbury.

Residents and guests are invited to watch as local businesses from the greater Southbury area decorate 10 trees that will be on display throughout the holiday season. The event will include music provided by Encore Entertainment, hors d’oeuvres and holiday drinks to get everyone into the holiday spirit.

Each tree has been sponsored and uniquely decorated by surrounding local businesses including Strive to Thrive, Heritage Villager Pharmacy, ArtsEscape and PT for Life.

The Watermark’s Festival of Trees is free of charge and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite holiday sweater, tie or other festive attire to the event.
