Quarry Walk Food Drive In Oxford To Support Food Bank

OXFORD, CT — A food drive to benefit the Seymour-Oxford Food Bank is scheduled for Saturday at Quarry Walk, according to event organizers. The collection is set for 10 a.m. to noon near Market 32.
The flyer says the event is being hosted by the Oxford Democratic Town Committee. Organizers are also encouraging people to stop by after the Easter Egg Hunt on Center Rock Green.
Requested donation items include beans, rice and pasta sides, pasta, sauce, Chef Boyardee, Progresso or Chunky soup, oatmeal, cereal, granola or protein bars, coffee, tea, jelly, crackers, canned fruit, mayo and ketchup. The flyer says every donation helps support a hunger-free future.
