Report: Oxford Man Accused of Murdering His Wife to Receive Marriage Records

The judge granted the defense attorney's request to have records of the couples marriage counseling sessions turned over to them.

Update, 5:30 p.m. The attorneys representing Scott Gellatly, 47, of Oxford, who is accused of killing his estranged wife and shooting his mother-in-law, succeeded Tuesday in their efforts to get records from joint marriage counseling sessions, the Hartford Courant reports.

The Superior Court Judge ordered the records to be released on Tuesday, which means the therapist must turn over the information to the defense team.

The defense attorney argued the records are vital to their defense and showing Gellatly’s mental health.
