Selectmen Hire Trooper As Full-Time Oxford Officer
First Selectman George R. Temple announced the news on Thursday.

OXFORD, CT — The Oxford Board of Selectmen voted to hire Trooper Michael Dyki as a full-time Oxford Police Officer. Trooper Dyki is currently assigned to the Town of Oxford as a Resident Trooper. He will be retiring in March and will join the Oxford Police Officers as a Town Officer in April. He has been assigned to Oxford for 14 years.
“I think Trooper Dyki would be an excellent fit for the town,” First Selectman George R. Temple said in a statement. “He has been doing a great job since being assigned here and the only impact that his new position will have on the town is he will serve many as a new officer and will have to drive a town police car instead of a state police car. He is a very grounded and cordial officer who is committed to server the towns people”.
