Serious 2-Car Accident Reported in Oxford: BREAKING

OXFORD, CT — The Oxford Fire Department is operating at a 2 car motor vehicle accident with extrication in the area of Route 67 67 and Old State Road.

Car 1 is on scene reporting a one car rollover and one car upright, according to Oxford Fire Rescue on Facebook.

Both vehicles are heavily damaged. The one car upright needing extrication for door removal for access for EMS personnel, officials said.

Fire officials said to use caution in the area from center of town and coming from Southbury into town. Detours are in place.
