Snow Impacts Oxford Public School Schedule For Friday

Oxford Public Schools will be closed for Friday, March 10, 2017, included for all administrators, school secretaries and Central Office staff, officials announced

Officials also said that the Harlem Rockets game will be rescheduled for March 24, 2017. Your tickets will be good for that night.

A fast-moving snowstorm is moving through the area this morning and is expected to drop between 3 to 5 inches of snow before it tapers off by 12 noon.

After the snow ends, it's setting the stage for a very cold weekend with temps only right around or just below the freezing mark on Saturday and Sunday.

And after a quiet Monday, a Nor'easter is in the forecast for Tuesday, which possibly could bring a significant amount of snow to the area.
