St. Peter's Episcopal in Oxford Celebrates 250 Years of Existence

The church will be holding its final events in October to commemorate the event.

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Oxford is in its 250th anniversary year.

In celebration of this milestone, the church has committed to various projects that have included donating over 250 items of food to the Oxford-Seymour Food Bank and asking parishioners to perform 250 random acts of kindness. The church also had a float in the town’s memorial day parade and hosted a talk on St. Peter’s history at the Oxford Senior Center, which included a baked potato bar lunch.

In celebration of their anniversary, the final two events of the year feature an English Tea and Stained Glass Window Tour on Oct. 4 at 2 p.m. and a Service of Thanksgiving on Oct. 19 at 10 a.m.
