State Supreme Court Rules In Favor Of Oxford Power Plant: Report
Several people challenged the Siting Council's ruling including the town of Middlebury.

OXFORD, CT — It's officially all over as the State Supreme Court ruled that the Connecticut Siting Council's approval of a new power plant in Oxford was the correct decision, the Republican-American reports.
Several residents and the town of Middlebury had raised concerns about the plant including environmental concerns but the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the power plant and upheld the Siting Council's decision.
Construction of the plant is more than half way completed and will be finished around the beginning of the new year.
