Summer Food Help Available For Oxford Families
Children in Oxford are eligible for the summer meal bag program.
SEYMOUR, CT — A local food bank program is working to help children in Seymour and Oxford this summer.
The Seymour Oxford Food Bank and Seymour Food 2 Kids are offering summer meal bags for any Seymour or Oxford child, according to a program flyer. Signups are open through June 6.
The program will provide weekly breakfast and lunch meal bags from June 24 through Aug. 19.

Families can pick up the meal bags Wednesdays at the Seymour Oxford Food Bank, 20 Pine St. in Seymour. Pickup times are 10 to 11 a.m. and 5 to 6 p.m.
Families interested in registering can visit seymouroxfordfoodbank.org or use the signup link shared by organizers.

The food bank is also accepting donations for the program. Organizers said donations go directly toward supporting children in the community.
