Temple Once Again Receives Oxford Republicans Support

Members of the Oxford Republican Town Committee have once again endorsed First Selectman George R. Temple to run for the top elected position in town.

Temple and the Republicans campaign theme is “Oxford Forward.”

During Wednesday night’s convention, Temple thanked numerous employees at Town Hall including police and firefighters and everyone who helps make Oxford such a special place to live.

Temple was elected first selectman in 2011.

Local Democrats have yet to announce a candidate for first selectman and will meet at 8 p.m. on July 28 at Town Hall to select local candidates for the election.
