
Seven people were injured following a three-car crash on Route 34 in Oxford, Paul Singley reports for the Republican-American.
The crash occurred on Friday when a car driving east crossed the center line near Route 34 at the intersection with Hawkstone Terrace struck another car traveling in the opposite direction head-on, the paper reports. The car traveling east was driven by Kyle Braden, 46, of Bridgeport and the other car was driven by Cassandra Vegeto, 24, of Poughkeepsie.
According to the paper, Braden’s car spun back into the eastbound lane colliding head-on with a third vehicle driven by Soraia Chaves, 32, of Danbury. The vehicle had three children inside.

All those involved in the accident were taken to area hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries, the paper reports.
Braden was issued an infraction for distracted driving and failure to drive on the right.
