Time for Oxford to Get on its Red, White & Blue and its Orange and Green!

VCF, NVSL and Oxford Paint & Hardware lead the way Memorial Day.

Valley Community Foundation has provided a grant to the Oxford Freedom Run Committee and will repeat its role as the primary sponsor of the Memorial Day 5k Run, 2k Walk and Rock Hopper Fun Run.

Naugatuck Valley Savings and Loan will also sponsor the Rock Hopper Fun Run.  Like VCF, Naugatuck is a repeat sponsor always ready to help the community honor our country's veterans.  This year, NVSL will showcase the start of its own red, white and blue tribute to the veterans.

Oxford Paint & Hardware, an Oxford institution, and always there for the Oxford Community is for the 6th consecutive year providing substantial sponsorship support to the race/walk.

ORANGE: Tennessee Volunteer Orange is the color of the shirts. A camouflage "6" is shown on the front with a cadre of more sponsors listed on the back.

GREEN: Rumor has it that if the new Brennan Sheban (a race sponsor) is open for business, not only the runners will be kicking up their heels.  Perhaps Irish Step Dancers and Bagpipes?
