Timeline For New Oxford Library Opening Released: Report

Construction is ongoing for the $3.5 million project.

OXFORD, CT — The new $3.5 million Oxford Public Library on Great Oak Road is scheduled to be completed by the end of January, the Republican-American reports.

The new library could be open to the public either in February or March. First Selectman George R. Temple told the Rep-Am that the new facility is "beautiful," while adding it will be a "great addition to the town."

The new library will have dedicated space for children, young adults and adults, and an area for computers, the Rep-Am reports.
