Troop A Labor Day Weekend DUI Enforcement Details

State Police troopers will be out and about in extra numbers this holiday weekend searching for DUI drivers.

State Troopers from Troop A want to ensure a safe Labor Day holiday weekend for all, therefore they say they will be concentrating their enforcement efforts on intoxicated motorists, aggressive motorists and distracted drivers throughout the Labor Day Weekend.

Additional troopers will be on duty for motor vehicle enforcement using traditional and non-traditional state police vehicles.

Troopers will conduct roving patrols September 1st, 2nd, and 3rd between 7:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. The roving patrols will be in the Danbury and Waterbury area on Interstate 84, Routes 7 and 8, and the towns in which Troop A patrols, State Police said in a news release.
